Introduction
Iv-Consult is a subsidiary of Iv-Groep, parent company of several multidisciplinary engineering companies which ranks number 12 among the top 50 Dutch engineering companies. Iv-Consult has the ambition to become a market leader in the overall and detailed design of large and heavy complex steel, concrete and/or mechanical constructions. There are currently about 110 professionals working at Iv-Consult on trend-setting projects such as the Rotating Tower. There are, approximately, 10 people working in the civil design department.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintain relations with client(s).
- Responsible for quality, planning, budget, client relationship and technology.
- Be technical contact person for our relations.
- Draw up estimates and quotes.
- Manage the project team that consists of designers, structural engineers and draughtsmen.
Key requirements
- Completed vocational training or a bachelor’s degree in the above-mentioned area(s)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar function
- Well-developed communication and editorial skills
- Be able to monitor the technical quality and adjust where necessary
- Be able to use solution-based methods of working
- Be able to monitor and act at the proper abstraction level
- Assertive, responsible, accurate and productive
