A consortium consisting of Iv-Infra, Tauw and Advin has signed a framework agreement with the North Holland provincial government for the provision of various engineering and consultancy services. The contract covers five lots for a term of at least two years, with renewal for a maximum of two terms of one year each.
Lots 1 and 2 cover general engineering and consultancy services for a variety of products and services in the fields of civil engineering, electrical engineering, geo-data, mechanical engineering, construction, spatial organisation (including environmental technology and ecology), traffic science and traffic control engineering.
The products and services include studies, licensing procedures, advisory documents, design specifications, management estimates and standard contractual conditions.
The other lots covered by a contract are of a specialised nature and concern traffic control systems, traffic management, public lighting and soil.
As a spin-off of the new framework agreement, the North Holland provincial government organised an open day for the contracting companies on 6 April 2011. It gave the civil servants of the provincial authority an opportunity to meet staff of the companies, and served as a stepping-stone towards good cooperation.
