Iv-Industrie wins the EPCM contract for a new processing facility for Musim Mas
May 2013 - Maschem B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Musim Mas Group, is to develop a state-of-the-art ethoxylation facility in Terneuzen, the Netherlands. Iv-Industrie has been awarded the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) contract for the whole facility, except the process-unit. The scope for Iv-Industrie, amongst others, will consist of the reservoir structures, loading installations and buildings. This is an exciting and challenging project, which calls for the application of the multidisciplinary capabilities of Iv-Industrie in the fields of food & pharma and oleochemicals. The ethoxylation facility is scheduled to be in production in early 2015. The state-of-the-art facility will produce surface active agents or more commonly known as surfactants based on alcohols, oils, esters, fatty acids and amines. The surfactants produced are used as raw materials in personal care products and detergents.
