Petrocom Coal Blending
Petrocom Coal Blending

Petrocom Energy Limited is building coal blending facilities (CBF) at twenty locations throughout China. Each of these locations will have six concrete silos with a storage capacity of 45,000 m³. Petrocom chose Iv-Consult as the engineering firm because of its experience in designing and engineering coal blending facilities (for clients including the Rotterdam-based transhipment company EMO).

At Petrocom's request, Iv-Consult set up the entire logistics process required for the new CBFs, with capacities ranging from 10 to 12 million tons per year. lv-Consult also took over the entire conception – from initial draft to final design – based on Chinese standards in an earthquake-prone area.
