Projects

The renovation of the Ministry of Finance is the first project for government office buildings in the Netherlands undertaken as a public-private partnership (PPP) and includes the design, renovation, financing and redevelopment of the ministry plus the 25-year management and maintenance of the building.
In cooperation with the Government Buildings Agency, the Ministry of Finance decided that renovation of its building would serve as a pilot project for future DBFMO contracts for public buildings. The upshot is that the project will cost 15% less compared with traditional tendering.
Iv-Consult was responsible for the calculations, detailed calculations and workshop drawings for the atrium roof and was contracted by CSM.
