Sustainability

Management and employees want to do their bit to help make the world more sustainable. The company has developed a policy on sustainability especially for this purpose. The policy has two tracks: an internal policy and an external policy.

The internal policy recognises that Iv-Groep does business sustainably and thus needs to check numerous policy measures against such requirements as those in ISO 26000, the internationally accepted standard for Corporate Social Responsibility (Iv-Groep prefers to refer to Sustainable Business). This translates into an up-to-date mobility plan (covering everything from bicycles to leased cars), measures to reduce energy consumption, involving personnel in forming ideas and policy, determination of the CO2 footprint and similar matters.

The external policy reaffirms what Iv-Groep has already been doing for many years: providing consultancy and engineering services through strong interaction with clients, with a constant search for the best solutions with the biggest possible contribution on sustainability. 'Sustainable' is not merely fleeting hype, but an awareness characteristic of engineers of Iv-Groep.
